This module also works reliably over a very wide temperature range, from -40°C up to +85°C.

Designed for easy integration and maintenance

As well as delivering a complete, standards-compliant, drop-in wireless solution, the PremierWave 2050 also eases integration and accelerates development, thanks to its production-ready software stack and modular RF certification.

Once deployed, this robust module ensures a long, maintenance-free product lifetime with features like OTA (over the air) field upgradeability, and multiple management modes including web browser and serial port, plus XML support. Service staff can access diagnostics, monitoring and maintenance functions via Wi-Fi without taking the module out of service or interrupting ongoing communications links. This management and upgrade flexibility also makes the PremierWave 2050 perfect for sensitive industries in which the high turnover of wireless communications technologies – and related regulations and certifications – would normally force costly replacements for compliance and compatibility, or even make wireless networking uneconomic.
